20-12-2015.- Energes completes construction of Vallehermoso II Photovoltaic Power Plant.

Energes finished work on the 2 MW Vallehermoso II power plant in December. The power plant will produce 3,240 MWh per year, enough to supply electricity to 325 homes and to prevent the emission of 2,106 tonnes of CO2 per annum.

This power plant will sell the energy produced in the wholesale electricity market, or electricity pool, and will be the largest plant in Spain to adopt this method. Som Energía, the green cooperative, is the project developer, and has financed the power plant using an innovative model of Participatory Self-Consumption.

Thanks to the engineering and construction work carried out by Energes, the plant will produce energy at a more competitive price than that offered by conventional generation systems.
